Question:

Am i eating correctly..?

okay so im 13, fourteen in like a month and weigh 107. soo... i eat a bowl of cereal at like 12:00, haha, then like an apple or banana or like chips at 3:00 ish, and then dinner, but i rarely finish it. so my dad thinks i dont eat enough and im like trying to starve myself or something [?!?!] thats just plain idiotic, im just not that hungary. who's right in this case?

I agree you don't sound as if you are trying to starve your self. i think you just need a better routine with your food eat breakfast at breakfast time. i'm not really a breakfast person but i usually have something like a cereal bar or some fruit. then at lunch time try something like a sandwich. but hey as long as u eat enough food to make sure u are satisfied (not stuffed just full) then its all good.

    i do know what you mean though i used be be the same as you and i was a constant healthy weight but people still commented on my eating. so as long as your weight is healthy and your getting the right nourishment then its all good  : )  


  2. i always say dont eat to get full, eat til your no longer hungry.. theres a difference. if your really not hungry for the food, dont eat it.. if you were wrong in doing this, your body would be telling you so.. =)

    But dad is right I think, since you say you are not hungry. at your age you should be active and hungry too.

    Since you did not say your height, I cannot give my opinion correctly base on all the facts, so here are the site, surf them and re-evaluate the thinking and if need be say sorry to your dad for calling him, an idiotic, parents have at heart the best interest of their child, so be tolerant of his opinion and say the right words, like thanks dad I will look in to it.

  5. how tall are you, so i can tell if you are underweight. but you don't seem lie you are eattting enough, especially if you dont eat until 12pm

It doesn't sound like you're trying to starve yourself, but I can see where your dad might be worried.  Your problem is that you don't eat very regularly.  Try waking up a little earlier and having a small breakfast (cereal is good-but you are eating it around the time you should be eating lunch).  If you're not a breakfast person, try something little, like an apple or banana.  When it comes to lunch, don't eat chips, those are very unhealthy (especially alone).  Try a sandwich with fruit or veggies.  If you don't snack in after lunch, you will be ready to eat by dinner time.  This should help your health, and make your dad happy.  Good luck, hope this helps!
