Even i have french nationality i never been in france before or my family members. When i referred to the www.ukcosa.com i found the answer in order to eligible for the home fees i should satisfy the following criteria ..

I should be a european national and i must have been ordinarily resident in the europe for the 3 years before start of the course.

I am afraid of this as i am not able to pay international fees. will you clarify this for me.

And my next question is I did my graduation in India BE- Electronics and Comminication Engineering and i have secured 70% aggregate. But in the classification of degree i only got second class because of incompletion of course in the specified duration. Am i eligible to take any course in your university. Because the classification of the degree in the UK is different and refer to as first class honours, second class honours which i dont understand.

I convey my deep gratitude and appreciation for your valuable time and helping me out of this

  1. Since none of your family member ever lived in france then how come you got the passport? Anyways, its irrevalent, you should apply through either British Council or UCAS.

As per my knowledge, if you have obtained the passport legally then there is no problem and you will be charged as an EU student.

    Best of luck

  2. If u are holding a french passport then u shall be treated as a European in the UK.

Why don't u study in France in that case??

Anyway u will get more information from British Council. Go to http://www.britishcouncil.org

U can also visit one of their offices and get detailed information on your criteria.
