Am i eligible for legal marijuana?

I have manic depression, severe anxiety, joint pain in my back and knees and i get migraines. I was wondering if any or all of them make me eligible for a cannabis card.

Also, how old do you have to be to get a card

I've only heard of legal marijuana for glaucoma, and it's not even legal in every state. Besides, the supreme court ruled that the federal government can still prosecute for marijuana in states that allow it for medical purposes.

It also depends on what state you live in and which doctor you get.  Some doctors are much more likely than others to prescribe cannabis.  As far as friends of mine that have a card, your combination of symptoms are more severe than what the threshold seems to be, especially if either your back, head or knee pains are chronic.

The queston is are you eligible for legal marijuana. The answer is NO! While marijuana is being prescribed by legal doctors the federal government has not yet approved its use, therefore you can still face criminal charges for being in possession of it regardless of prescription. Federal law is still the law of te land.

Don't listen to these clowns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................. my friends have cannabis cards and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.........they just go in and tell the doctor the have headaches or some lame excuse like that and $175 later.................a cannabis card.......In-fact I got the phone number to the doctor who will give you your 100% legal cannabis card.............Oh yeah!...I live in the SF Bay Area........do you?????????The doctor who is giving out these cards is located in Oakland....Its like a 10 minute drive from Frisco........We all smoke weed walkin down the street, out here in the Bay.......We don't care about the police......

Speak to your doctor. All of those ailments can be helped by medical marijuana. If your doctor is uncomfortable recommending medical marijuana you may need to do an internet search to find what doctors in your area aren't.

Are there doctors that abuse the system? Sure. Every system is abused by someone somewhere. Try to find a doctor that is up to date on the laws, and one who will show up to court in case of any legal difficulties.

You can be any age to get a card, but if you are under 18 you will need your parents to be present when you get your card, and you may need them to escort you to any collectives in your area...but be warned, most collectives do balk at providing medication to minors.

Please be responsible and respectful as you are entering this community. And BE SAFE. The card does not protect you federally, and honestly it only protects you 50% of the time on a state level.

I am really upset when a person wants to legally do drugs.I understand that you are in pain,but aren't there other options? Have you spoken to a medical Dr? These drugs?? work only for a  short time and you keep going in a circle. My best advice is to see a medical Dr.All the best and I do sincerely hope you get well..
