  1. My advice for you is this:

Feed your beta only twice a day morning and night. Spend max. only 5 min. on feeding.

Blood/black worms are very heplful because it helps your fish to be colorful, once and actice, twice. That's all you need for your healthy fish.

    Hoe it helped you>

  2. i just feed as much as they're able to eat within 5 minutes.  maybe twice a day.  blood worms are not needed.  but it's a good snack once in awhile.  i don't use blood worms because they can introduce disease to the tank.

  3. Blood worms are rich in protein, but should only be fed in small amounts on occasion.

Your fish should be fed the amount that he can consume in less than five minutes.  I have a Betta and he eats more than what you are feeding yours.  I hope that helps somewhat :)

  4. You don't have to feed a betta fish blood worms, but it will make the betta fish more colorful, repair it's fins, and reduce stress. You should give your betta as much worms as he can consume in about 2 minutes. Even though fish flakes make Bettas lose their color, they are easier to digest, unlike bloodworms, brine shrimp, and pellets. However, pellets, shrimp and bloodworms are most preferred by bettas. You can find bloodworms, or brine shrimp at your local pet store (I found feeding shrimp and bloodworms at Petland). I hope this helped.
