  1. well they wont be arresting you if thats what you want to know but you will be getting a hefty fine and the credit card they will probably charge you by your credit card that you let them inspect and thats pretty much it so you dont have to worry about it that much unless you also hate fines

  2. The problem is, you lied to the authorities and it is up to them what happens.  If it is not a penalty issue, then court and prison are not considered.  What is considered is your travel.  You might be barred from travel or you could be expelled from the country.  And yes, anything that the authorities do to you is put on your record.  But, what can be done with that record can only be used against you if you have another episode of lieing to the authorities about your age.  By lieing to the travel police, you place yourself in the terrorist category.

  3. No criminal record.  No jail.  Don't worry.

  4. I don't know where you live or the laws there, but it doesn't sound like something you'd go to prison over! That's seems a bit extreme for cheating them out of a few bucks.  I'm thinking maybe a fine or probation. I wouldn't think you'd get a criminal record either. Why don't you call them and ask them what the maximum punishment is for the act?

  5. Jail? highly doubtful.

    Fine? possibly.

  6. Hello Katya. The charge for this would be theft of service. If this is your first violation, you will be looking at a fine, restitution and probation. It is a misdemeanor charge unless your ticket would have normally been over $300 ( or $500 in some states).

I would suggest a competent attorney to represent you in court to lessen the impact of the sentencing.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you

  7. You will probably get life without parole.

  8. Its most likely a small fine....

  9. Small fine, no jail, no record.

  10. Yes, you will go to jail. Sorry to say. oh and stay away from bertha..

  11. Jail ... not likely!

Worst case scenario I can think of is you will have to pay a fine, and pay the train company the difference between the child ticket you traveled with and the adult ticket you should have had.
