Hmmm. £149 for a dress. How many women`s figures is that likely to flatter? But, apparently "Everyone should have one" according to the head of womenswear at M & S.

Have you bought one or are planning to. Come on own up. Lol.

  4. i agree it looks like a bin bag, leather in this heat, not for me

  5. No. I don't think a dress will do anything for me. I'm not that way.

  6. I buy all my dresses at the goodwill store.

  7. Blue binbag!!!!! god it's awful!

  8. £149????

thinks of what i could buy at matalan for that amount lol

    id fill me wardrobe.

  9. It looks like a fu*king trash bag!

I'm not so sure how flattering it is on the model???? It doesn't lay good at all.... that **** would bunch up around my big ***!

  10. its ugly

it would need to be a lot better than that for me to spend 80 quid never mind 150

  11. i wear bin bags all the time.

  12. Huh? They must be having a laugh.

  13. It's awful. A black bin bag has more going for it and is cheaper !

  14. HOW MUCH? I wouldn't pay that for a frock.

  15. Definitetly not... I don't like leather anyway and I can think of much nicer dresses for £149.. just go to Monsoons!  I don't like advertising campains that say "everyone should have one"  they are just playing on people's need to fit in and be accepted so they can get more money... what happended to celebrating individuality?

...I do like the shoes though..!

  16. There is nothing worse than having the seasons most poular dress.Who wants to look common? It's rank.

  17. I'll wait for the £3.99 Primada version

Edit: Jo you know full well i saw you in Primark in Southampton today....the stench of  eau de Cillit Bang gave you away ;)

  18. Ha ha,  I used to have a dress like that once, but it  was green wool. I wore it to my cousin's wedding in 1979 and very fetching I looked in it too.

If I knew how to I would put the photo on here for you to have a look at.

Didn't cost £149 though I think it was about £1.49.  LOL

Now that's what you call getting old!!!!  : -- D

  19. I have a really good excuse for the girl you cannot afford that, say your a vegan.

  20. Jo I have a natural leatherette look to my skin already ..I need no further ..er..enhancements!

Besides if I had £149 to spend on clothes I would buy 149 knickers from Pound-land, proper useful stuff.

EDIT-Me and viper wear coty l'aimant as our signature scent not Cilit Bang..you cheeky Hampshire wench :-)

  21. I think these so-called stylists are well out of touch with the ordinary working woman! I mean, who the h**l can afford 149 quid for a dress? I'd be looking for all the matching accessories and the bloody wardrobe to put it in for that price!

  22. It looks hideous... very cheap and tacky.  It's not even a nice shape.  Or colour.  I agree, you could make a nicer one from bin bags and duct tape!

The only dress I have ever seen to fit 'every shape' was the Roland Mouret Galaxy dress, and you could get a version of it for a heck of a lot less than £149 in most stores
