Am i gonna grow taller?

im 17 years old... im 5'5'' i really wanna get taller at least to 5'9'' or 5'10''! My mom is 5'4'' and my dad is 5'0'' lol... but i think i have more genes from my mom cause i look more like her.. plus im so much taller than my dad... my uncles.. from my moms family are like between 5'8'' and 5'9''...!!! I've never got a growth spurt... I've always been growing gradually..!do u think i'll get there??? if u r 5'9''!!! how tall were u when u were 17??? ohh and i don't shave yet... late growth spurt??

Your right about your genes and how they play a part in your growth.  Good news is boys get most of their traits from their Mom's side of the family.  I learned this in my genetics classes.  Unlike girls, boys can grow into their 20's.  Good advice would be to eat healthy and exercise.  Stay as healthy as possible.  I've heard that smoking and coffee can slow down the growth process.  Hang in there and good luck.  And hey there are a lot of really attractive men in this world that aren't even 5'5.

Aw, that's cute that your mum is taller than your dad! Anyways, boys usually grow until their around 21. You still have 4 years, so make the most of it. Sleep and eat right. I heard that playing sport - particularly basketball - helps. If you've been growing gradually, you may get to your desired height. I doubt you've never had growth spurts. You might just not have realized or noticed if it is one, but you would have definitely had a growth spurt sometime in your life. How much have you grown in the past year? If you figure that out, you'll get a rough idea how tall you could grow.

I think so play basket ball or volley ball those types of sports help you grow also drink a lot of milk. BOys stop growing around the age of 20
