Am i having twins please help?!?

Could i be having twins? i had s*x yesterday with my husband and felt kicking from both sides of my abdomen. could this be twins? i'm very worried please help!

I'm not sure but usually when your midwife listens to your baby's heartbeat on your first appointment, they can usually tell then whether you are having more than one.

If you are already feeling kicks then it is more than likely that you have already had your first appointment with the midwife and possibly your first scan if it was offered at 12 weeks.

the double kicking was probably just your babies hands and feet rather than two pairs of feet.

OMG you had s*x YESTERDAY and you expect to feel kicking already............grow up, this has to be a joke

lol you should of said you were pregnant!!!  Im not pregnant with twins but I would get kicking all over giving you the impression there was more than one in there, its just their wee arms and legs all over the place

Without knowing how far along you are, this is very hard to say. Normally the U/S has identified twins by the time you feel any movement from the baby. Also you would likely have had very high hCG levels too, so they would have suspected it several weeks (if not months) ago. But don't rely on Y!A comments, because it's all guesswork. Ask your doctor to check and tell you.

Could be, but its probably kicking one side and punching the other. Your next scan should tell you.

Well how far along are you? If your pretty far along I'm sure the doctors would have seen or heard 2 heartbeats. But sometimes the baby can stretch & could have kicked you on both sides!

i think what she is saying is she is already pregnant and felt kicking from both sides after s*x not unusual i often feel like im being kicked all over too not just after s*x but im told theres only one in there did you have your scan yet to let you know

I am assuming that you are pregnant, prior to yesterday's s*x session.

The only way it will confirm whether you are having twins or not is to wait until your scans.
