  1. you are probably in labour

the pains come and go then towards the time when the baby is born they get regular and the time between them gets shorter

it's not good for the baby if the labour is too long, the baby gets distressed

as you are overdue you should see your doctor or go to the ante natal clinic.

  2. probably labour pains, call your doctor, if its that painful you should be going to the hospital.

  3. you have to go to the hospital and get it checked out. your really late.... that is not good for the baby.

  4. If you are 9 days overdue and you are having pains, you should definitely contact your Dr. and see what they want you to do..

  5. When I went through labor, it was a 3 day ordeal that I didn't sleep more than an hour or two total during and the first 2 days were irregular labor pains that were just bad enough I couldn't sleep through. It sounds like you're going through the same thing, so get all the rest you can squeeze in because full out labor is right around the corner. Just a tidbit of information though,... if your water doesn't break, it's just leaking lightly, then tell the nurses to break your water. I had a horrible experience because they didn't do that for me, because if you require Pitocin, you'll end up needing an epidural. Just thought I'd let you know. Good luck!

  6. could be.  my mom said that she just felt like REALLY bad indegestion for hours before she realized she was in labor.

  7. Yeah i think your in labour, go to your local hospital or ring your midwife. Have you had any other signs like your show, a bloody discharge, back ache or your waters breaking??

Get checked out to be on the safe side. Good luck.

  8. I would call your doctor and let them know what is going on. Not us.

  9. my aunt(she here beside me)has a 2 girls 10 and 3 and twin boys 3 month old and she said with her first she was 6 days over due and she had a pain and she wasnt sure how to explain what it was like and she got it at mass and then she had it all threw mass.she put it down to the baby moving and just ignored it then the nextday her waters broke and 30 minutes later she waas giving birth at home in the bath by herself(husband was at a meeting aand her sister was ment to come totake care of her but she got a flat tyre)she gave birth by herself in the bath using a mirror.she didnt even have time to call the ambulance.untill after the baby was born.

then afterwards she called the ambulance and an hour klater she was still attched to the baby till the ambulance came and cut the cord what im saying and my aunt is dont put it down to something the hospital/doctor wont laaugh at you if its nothing better be on the safe side than the wrong.

  10. You could be in labour have your water gone yet? if so then you need to go to hospital asap.  You may also be having a slow labour but if you are worried you should go and get checked out.  It could be trapped wind to that can be very painful to,

    Good luck

  11. If your dates are correct ring your midwife and explain it is possible you could be in labour if there are minutes in between the pains it is possible you are ready, normally you would have a show before the pains start to occur sometimes your waters don't break and the hospital has to do this for you but please don't delay get in touch with someone now they will monitor you and tell you whether or not you actually are in labour GOOD LUCK
