i was hanging out with this girl friend of mine. She told me that im the coolest person to hang out with and that we are friends forever. does that cut out all of the romantic things? she also says im the sweetest guy she has ever met.

was she just trying to be friendly and let me know that we are just friends?

  Yes for right now she sees you as a good friend.  Having said that you can still continue on being her friend. Sometimes great relationships start out as just friendship and grow into romance.

    She has been up front with you by saying your a cool guy to hand out withand that you will be friends forever.

    That does not mean you should not date other girls, who knows once she sees you out dating her feelings might change, but do not count on it.
