  1. Did a doctor prescribe this vitamin?

If not, you're taking a risk with your health by taking this supplement.

Unless you were diagnosed as anemic, you should not need any iron supplementation.

If you want healthy hair, stop dying it and using c**p "product" on it. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fruits and veggies for healthy nails.

  2. The ONLY reason why you should be taking a supplement(that is what you are taking) is if your diet lacks what you are getting from that "pregnancy vitamin". it is not medically correct to say that "this chemical is responsible for the health of this part, therefore taking more of that chemical will make that part even better".

  3. The RDA for iron is 15mg. for a female of your age.

  4. You may wish to consider changing the pregnancy vitamin for one especially for skin, hair and nails. You can check your local heath food or vitamin store.

If you are not vegan, you may consider occasionally putting raw egg in your hair after shampooing. Let is sit for a few minutes then rinse with cool water (hot water will cook the egg in your Hair and that would be nasty) This is like a protein conditioner. You may also mash up an avocado and put that on your hair occasionally for replenishing some of the natural moisture an oils.
