Am i just being stupid?

i met this guy a few weeks ago, he's asked me to coffee which went great. we chatted for ages the convos ok but no great.. we went for lunch n walked on the beach n coffee but during the week i hardly hear from him. i always have to txt him first. i think i have a crush on him. am i being silly by thinkin he might llike me. or am i gettin my hopes up. he drops compliments about my persona alot n he does talk to me quite a bit but he doesnt like say if he's interested or not. if there is any flirting it's really witty. should i just take him as a friend? and not read too much into his efforts?

relationships always work out if they're built on friendship.

in time hopefully he will learn to trust you and if he does like you, he may have the guts to say it to your face.

And if you have a crush on him, see if he is interested in you as well, might turn the friends relationship into boyfriend and girlfriend.
