  1. Get it repaired.  You could lose a lot more than gas or electric!  Boilers sometimes explode, and even if it doesn't, the leak can cause other damage to your home.

  2. Please give more detail about the type of boiler and where it is leaking.

  3. First:  It sounds as if your temperature and pressure relief valve is letting off pressure.  It is supposed to do this, if the pressure/temperature get too high.  If it is constantly leaking, it might be defective, and needs replacement.  Second:  If you have a gas boiler, then yes your gas bill will be higher, as the boiler is heating up water that is being replaced in the tank, as hot water is leaking out.  There wouldn't be any electrical for a gas boiler.  Call your landlord again, and inform him you need this taken care of today, or you will call a plumber, and take it out of the rent.  Good luck!

  4. you will be paying more for gas or electricity since you will be heating more water due to the leak

  5. buy a new one befor your house blows up

  6. Both get it fixed there could be more to the problem
