Question:

Am i not eating enough ?

Ok well this is basically a day of what i eat through ONE day ..

morning :

Tea [ with milk ]

Afternoon :

Sandwich [ with cheese spread ]

Fruit bar

Evening :

Pasta [ with Italian chili sauce ]

apple , or maybe 4 squares if chocolate

basically am i eating enough ?

and also how many calories in one day ?

[ oh yeah btw I'm 13 ]

  1. That actually sounds like a very healthy diet (minus the chocolate of course, but hey, we all have to splurge every once in a while). The big thing to realize is that you are young and your body is still growing and developing. You have higher caloric needs than someone twice your age simply because of this fact. The more active you are (and at 13, if you're not active, turn off the computer and go play some basketball or ride a bike for a while), the higher your caloric needs. As I said, that sounds like a very healthy diet, but you may want to throw in a piece of fruit at breakfast with your tea. However, make sure you're not short-changing your body's needs. You don't want to overeat, obviously, but you do need to make sure your body is getting what it needs for you to grow properly.


  2. change it to this:

    - tea with milk

    - tea cake/ hot cross bun/ scone with cream and jam/ toast/ cereal/ boiled egg with soldiers/ yougurt

    afternoon:

    sandwich with salad

    fruit bar

    bag of crisps

    cookie/cake

    evening: pasta apple and chocolate is fine

    through out the day snack too, healthy and junk is fine.

    fruit, nuts, crisps, chocolate- anything. enjoy

  3. I would throw in a few snacks to boost your metabolism.

    I'm assuming you're trying to GAIN weight, am I right?
