  1. Well, I'm gonna' jump right in without seeing your work:

    that girl is wrong.

She's jealous of your work, or jealous (more likely) of you and derives some twisted measure of joy putting you down, even more when you buy into her crappola.  When she makes negative comments, give her the look that says, "say what? And look who's talking!" Never, EVER, take to heart bad talk about your art. Listen when folks can point out the good as well as offer critique, but don't swallow bad talk easily. Get used to hearing it & letting it roll away.

If you love art, you most definitely should go to school to develop and expand it. You'll never regret the enrichment you give yourself!

    Best wishes.

SAW YOUR SKETCHES!  Whoa!  Beautiful! You go, girl!

  2. Just because one girl told you that you sucked doesn't mean that you're bad! She's probably just jealous of how good you are. Don't let anyone bring you down!

(Oh, by the way both links didn't work)

  3. your sketches are nice and i think you've got a talent

you go girl never let any one bring your spirit down :)

  4. It says we need a password to view your art

  5. You need a password.

HOLY c**p. You are amazing. Clearly, that girl is a b**** and doesn't know what she is talking about. Don't even listen to her! you will go VERY far with your art, trust me.

  6. yes sweety, your exceptional, as good as me when I was your age. Keep it up, it'll take you far. Trust me, you keep working on your skills by the time your ready you will definately make it into an art school. When you get to highschool make sure to take advance placement (ap) art if your school offers it. It'll save you money in art school in your pursuit for your degree. Much luck to you young artist.

  7. I think you're OK, that's a big O and a big K :). And i think that girl is just annoying or jealous maybe :)

  8. It says you have to have a password to view the gallery. Can you tell  us(the readers) so we can answer your question adequately?

okay, now that ive seen it...YOURE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... that girls just jealous of youre awesomeness

P.S. dont care about ONE bad thing, who cares what she thinks?

  9. Very nice, I wish I drew as good as you when I was your age. Keep going at it and don't take what that girl said to you to heart, I'm sure she wishes she was as good as you. You are a great artist and trust me not many people can draw like that at your age, be proud of your skills in art at such a young age :)

  10. Both links don't work. You need a password for the second one.

  11. You are great at drawing..... Even though your 13 you should consider taking art classes for a life time. I think your drawings are awesome!!!! Rock ON!!!!!

  12. Don't know how but I had no problem making the link. The two pages I saw were exceptionally good. Your work?

  13. Yeah give working Links...I am the Artistic type to If you win stuff like scolarships or money with your art then your good. Also if you don't give that a try and you will find out.

But if you really think you are good then you are good.

  14. When we need someone else's approval for our art, we are no longer an artist.  There will always be people who enjoy your work, and there will always be people who dislike it.  What matters is this:  Do YOU enjoy it?  If the answer is yes, then continue, and let no ones negative comments disway you.

  15. Yes, you are very good for your age.

I would suggest taking the Art Instruction Schools Free Art Test.

They will send you an art test in the mail, you complete it and send it back.

Then they will send you your "grade" and let you know if you qualify to go to art school.

I think you have to be fourteen to be qualified, but you can still fill on out to see what grade they would give you.

  16. YES!! you are quite talented for a girl your age, definitely keep up with it because you can only get better!!  take art classes (which I'm sure you are taking some) to increase your portfolio, and try to get some drawings on drawing paper, not lined paper (lol I do stuff like that too)

that girl who insulted you is just dumb, she probably can't draw worth c**p haha

    :) good luck!

  17. You need a password to view your pictures, they're probably on private mode.

  18. she probably said that because she knew that she couldn't draw like that.

besides it is your artistic expression.  so some people might not get it while others think it is amazing and want to pay millions for it.

don't let one person (or ten) people say that you suck.  if you want to go to school for art then do it.

from what i saw you have a lot of talent.

  19. Don't realize why the links won't work for you guys, cuz they do for me..HAHAHAHHA lol They are really good and keep going because you could get somewhere with it.

  20. She's just being a b. You have a talent for drawing and more importantly an interest in it! I remember my teacher once telling me to draw what you see, not what you think you see and pay special attention to how the light and shadows create depth. Values! It helps bring a flat image on paper jump off the paper. I imagine you are using pictures from magazines or friends photos, etc... to draw from. If you can draw from a live scene. Start by taking a picture of your best friend. Something simple like a head and shoulders shot and then work up to the full figure. When you both have time, ask him or her to actually sit in for a while instead of the picture. If your friend has something he or she really likes to do, maybe you can repay the favor by helping her.

Another way to work from life is use a mirror and do a self portrait. Drawing from pictures can distort the light and shadows while life drawing is better but much harder. Also remember that different times of the day make a difference. Keep drawing! Quick sketches, detailed pictures, whatever keeps you happy and progressing. Practice is really the only thing that makes you become better no matter what age you are. Also fun is to get others (3-4 people) your age that like to draw together. Outside, inside, pick a certain time and draw something and then critique each other's drawings. Constructive critiquing is most helpful to everyone. Good luck!
