Am i overreacting to this problem i am having with my roomate?

My mom and family pointed out that i had gray hair and i hadn't noticed yet i felt embarrassed by it . i told my roommate who let me tell is a 49 yr old women about it and then she goes don't listen to you family. your family is only pointing out your flaws that's all you family ever does that does want you to spend money and cover it up! and be happy with you gray hair go gray and she is gray hair and i told her i didn't want to she goes of in a hissy fit saying whats wrong with gray and i just said it wasn't for me and i was like enough about my family please and she would not leave it alone do you think i should go ahead and forgive her or just kind of be cold for a day or two she really hurt me and hard? my fiance and i are younger and we pick up after her what should i do? we can't kick her out until march when the lease expires and she is extremely sensitive how do we approach him?

Okay, so it sounds like your roommate is a real pain to live with. She may be sensitive but she can lash out like a tiger. I would suggest just avoiding her company, you can't kick her out for a while, so in the meantime just try to be civil. If she continues to attack you with words just ignore her or tell her to get a life and stop bothering yours.

ummm well, basically to get to the point, no matter what you do about this it seems there will be more problems until you get rid of this roommate. You and ur fiance are way too different than this person and its making you all crash. so just try your best to apologize and for the most part, try to avoid conversation. and if you have to be REAL about it all. tell him like "look dude ur our roommate and all but we are way too different. I have my opinion and you have yours and there aint NOTHING wrong with that so your either going to have to accept it and feel relief, or not accept it and be miserable." so at least you know that YOU accept him and just try to let it go. If not, everyone will hate there lives and life is too short!!
