Am i part of the problem?

Question

i paid two boys from a nearby neighborhood to clean my yard and pull weeds. it took a few hours. they worked hard and stopped only for the cold drink i gave them.

i took them to carl's jr. gave them each $20 and a ride home.

one is in the 5th grade and the other is in the 7th grade. did i exploit them? i know a "real" gardener would have cost me much more.

You did not exploit  them, but next time pay them a bit more if they come around to do some work!!!

h**l, yeah! That's not even minimum wage, but I can't talk I had my little brother and 2 little cousins help me move one day (all day) and I gave them $40 bucks.

Professional movers are too expensive now days!

*And by the way, most of the country does not have Carl's Jr., but that Western Bacon Cheesburger is the bomb (I get it with no bacon, because I don't eat swine).
