Am i pregnant? not sure!! think so!! ?

Question

I took a test on the 19th August, Positive result!!!! although i am not due a period for about 6 days!!! i left the result before i read it for about half an hour the instructions say, if the test is left more than 15 mins the result in invalid!!! am i pregnant???

You need to take another test and make sure you read it when you need to.  If test like that sit too long they will not read correctly.

Get a 2 pack take one now.  Then wait till your missed period and take it again.

You may well be pregnant but I would take another test just to be sure.

Buy a 2 pack test, then take another one today and then maybe the other when you miss/or the day your period is due.

Well the result is no valid then is it? You are probably seeing an evaporation line...

You probably are but take another test on the day of your expected period.

I got a positive nearly 2 weeks before I expected my period.

It is really hard to get a false positive but possible. You are more likely to get a false negative. Best bet is take another test. Even though they recommend 5 days before your missed period they still pick up a little earlier sometimes if you are lucky. You may just be lucky! Congrats if you are and if the next test comes back neg. then take another on the day of your missed period.

If you left it past the valid time, it's not valid, and you wouldn't get a positive result this early anyways, even if you were, most likely.

wait and retest and read it on time. i've had some turn positive though i read them when they were negative. and they were right, i wasn't preg.

I left my tests, they were positive.  I looked at them every 3 minutes for like 2 hours, still postive.  However, sometimes, positive lines show up after the test has sat for awhile, those are evaporation lines.  Sounds like you need to go buy a new test.  Good luck!

False positives are very rare!

I'd wait a few more days and take another test (an early response test or similar) to be sure.

False positives can appear if the test is left (either an evapouration line or a coloured line), but usually after a few hours.

u can find out 6days befor ur period it looks like u are but if ur not sure do another test gd luck x

Wait till you get your period

and if you do not get it in 6 days

take another pregnancy test

and that should tell you accurately!
