Am i really insane or am i just being ridiculous?

i hear things in my head, like things that tell me what to do, and i have flashes of images of people dieing. uh now i think im insane!

There's many different variables that aren't answered... Any family with mental disorders? Any use of illegal drugs? Any traumatic events happen to you or witnessing of any traumatic events? Is it a single voice or multiple voices? If it's a single voice, does it "sound" like your normal thoughts? Are you under a lot of stress at the moment?

If you have family with mental disorders, you may be more likely to have a mental disorder. Illegal drugs, such as marijuana or meth, may cause hallucinations. Traumatic events, either being in or witnessing, may cause some stress related problems. If multiple voices are heard, or even if its a single voice that sounds "abnormal" from your normal consciousness, you may want to see a therapist about it. A large amount of stress (such as financial issues, school/work issues, or family/friend problems all combined) may cause some emotional turmoil.

If you really are concerned about these voices and images, talk to a psychologist.

you might be a little schizophrenic so I think you should go see a doctor for you safety and others as soon as possible....hope this helps
