I've been trying to get pregnant forever. I had a miscarriage a few years back. i think I'm pregnant now. I took two at home pregnancy tests and they were both positive. I went to my doctor and they asked when my last period was. my periods have always been irregular so skipping a month here or there was normal for me. ive been getting sick especially on car rides. the doctor wont give me a blood test. they just gave me a due date. I really hope i am pregnant I just cant believe it could be true. please tell me what you think

  1. CONGRATULATIONS you are going to be a Mommy i do not know why the doctor will not give you a pregnancy test if you ask for it well any way take it easy and enjoy your pregnancy

  2. yes u are..........congrat's

  3. sounds to me like you are.if they gave you a due date.and the home pregnancy test are usually accurate so congratulations all the best to you and your baby.

  4. I think you've answered your own question. You're not satified with the home test kit confirmation and you desire to have a blood test. This is an understandable request. I thind you should request (tell your Dr not ask him/her) and if they refuse-find a Dr who will.

  5. When you try to conceive for so long and want to have a baby so much, it's hard to believe it when it actually happens.

You had two positive tests. You are pregnant!! Congratulations! Have a happy and healthy nine months!

  6. u are pregnant............. do nt do heavy things, u don't stress urself, since u said it's be long u have been waithing for a baby.

  7. go to a gynecologist they should tell you

  8. demand a blood test and a viability scan. If you have irregular periods, there's no way to be sure when you are due unless you have a dating scan (viability scan). I went in and told them when i last had bleeding, which was only spotting anyway, and got told 'you're nine weeks pregnant.' I said 'i don't think so buddy, as if i'd get a bfn at 6 weeks pregnant!' (I took a test 3 weeks before then) so i went for a scan, and sure enough, i was only 7 weeks pregnant. So my negative was less than 2 weeks since i ovulated.

Imagine if they didn't date my pregnancy properly? I wouldn't know when to go for my 12 or 20 weeks scans, and they may have gone 'oh look, she's 2 weeks overdue, let's induce her!!' When i still had another two weeks before they should be thinking about inducing me.

Doctors are service providers, get them to give you services. Keep going till you find a doc who will send you.

Two positive tests, i think you can believe it. :) I took three, and i didn't WANT to believe it till i had that blood test result. After TTC for 2 yrs, i had to have proof. I've even had a scan, and i'm still scared to believe it!!!

  9. if you are throwing up are pregnant  you then you can go to the doctor or another doctor

  10. If you took two pregnancy tests and they are possitive I think you could be pregnant.

I also think if your period skips for more than it should, obviousily that means you are. (:

    Congratz mum :P
