  1. If you are not married and haven't co-signed with her on anything you should be fine.

  2. You are only liable for debts that have your name on them.  BTW - getting married puts your name on them, so think carefully.

  3. you need to think about writing to Experian etc to "disassociate" your finances from your girlfriend. This will mean that when a creditor checks your info using your address, your girlfriend's debt will be separated from your own. Take care and do not jointly sign anything with her or let her share your credit cards. Do not feel sorry for her and take out a loan to repay her debts. You will end up being liable for her debts when she may no longer be around.

  4. You won't be responsible for her debts.

However, its not only you as a person that gets a credit rating, but the address can be affected too.  So if she changes her address to yours, you will be affected in the future.

  5. No. If you didn't sign for the debt. You don't owe the debt. Married or not.

  6. No you aren't responsible for her debts

  7. no, but if you get married it becomes yours as well as hers

  8. dump her, shes a liability
