  1. Do you love it?

Can you think of another career? (Hint: you should)

Do you want to face humiliation, day after day, and be told that your best is not good enough? Are you willing to put in the hours? Are you willing to pay actual cash money, and expect to be ripped off, in order to gain wisdom? And Headshots?

Do you think it is fun to weep in frustration?

Can you keep an order of Ham and Eggs separate from an order of Brisket and Eggs, without stumbling?

    Most importantly:

Can you look me in the eye and tell me the truth?

That is what real acting is all about.

  2. yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  3. You're definitely on the right track.  Get involved with community or school theatre, keep going to your classes and then look at further training once you leave school.  You're looking at it the right way though, and it sounds like you want it enough to be prepared to put the time and energy into it, so go for it!  Good luck!

  4. 1. Training. Acting/Dancing/Singing classes are a good start. You start to get some talent under your belt, and grow your confidence. Plus, if after about a year of classes if you realize you really don't like it, it'll be easier for you to back out.

    2. Experience. Do Community Theater, act in your school play, get in some student films, etc. You'll want to do as many productions as possible to have a great resume.

    3. Agent. http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/tale...

As you can see, you're going to need to spend at least two years (At the VERY least. Usually you'll need three to four.) building yourself up. You'll want to make sure this is what you really want to do before you start getting into this.

Also, you should NEVER have to pay for anything when it comes to getting an agent. If an agent tells you to take special classes from them or a website asks for a credit card number, that is a red flag that it is a scam. Some of the big scammers out there are: John Robert Powers, Millie Lewis, John Casablancas, Proscout, Model Look, Barbizon.

Hope this helps and I wish you a fantastic career. =)

  5. It sounds like it's your calling, but a little more practice never hurt anyone. If you are enjoying yourself and good at what you are doing (according to someone else's opinion) then yes, you are right for acting / musical theatre.

  6. sounds like you are right for a bragging club
