  1. Gift.

Better to be prepared than not.

  2. Interesting there's no reception or party.  You shouldn't feel obligated to bring a gift because there is no reception, but I would give them a card with a gift card of a small amount anyway.

  3. Better safe than sorry - how about a nice card with a gift card or cash?

  4. noooo lol

  5. You plan on eating and drinking their food don't you?

-make some sort of effort with a gift. Even if it's washing up the dishes.

I'm sure you would expect something at your wedding

  6. A gift card would be nice.  After all you don't have much time to go shopping for a gift.

PS: There's no such word as "sapose".  I think you mean "suppose" or in this particular instance "supposed".

  7. No gift.

  8. YES, of course you bring a gift. It is your friend #1,How would you feel if it was your wedding and they didn't bring you a gift #2,Just because it is a rushed wedding doesn't make it any less important to them #3 and people don't usually ask for gifts for their weddings #4.I'm sure they need alot of stuff, especially cash with a new baby on the way and a good friend wouldn't think twice about bringing a gift. If i were the bride, unless you are having financial trouble and she knows it, I would be hurt by your actions.Does she always show up with a gift for your events that merit a gift? It's always better to give than to receive!!!!

  9. Etiquette rules say you have up until the first anniversary to get a present.  I wouldn't worry about it as you've just spent so much money on the baby shower and it is so last minute.  But I would send something in a month or so.

  10. Don't feel like you have to as it is totally your choice but I probably would bring a little something. How about a gift card inside a nice wedding card for somewhere like Target or the like, where they can use it for themselves or the baby. But if you don't want to then don't feel bad. Good luck.  :)

  11. Gift.

The baby shower and the wedding are two separate things.  You give a WEDDING gift, not a reception gift.  It doesn't matter if there's a reception or not.

The gift doesn't have to be expensive.  It can even be just a card.  It IS the thought that counts.

  12. I think it would be more appropriate to give a gift..a wedding gift to sort of start off your friends' lives as a married couple. The gifts given during the baby shower is for the baby.
