I ran the 100 m dash at 17 seconds and I'm 14. I am 5'7'' and weigh at around 147 pounds with a waist at around 31-33 inches. Am i slow because I am underweight? Though at football practice I was beating the running backs and linemen by like 5-10 yards on the "gassers". though I didn't get to run against the receivers. Well I ate alot the previous day so I had a lot of enrergy. What should I do to become more fit/fast/strong? (I also play as an offensive and defensive lineman.)My best mile time was either 5:32 but sure I had a mile time at 5:49.
