Am i stupid for being like this? ?

Question

well there is a hole at the side of my house, small enough for mice to come in, i can never manage to find it to cover it, but so far at least 6 came in, 4 ran away and 2 keep coming and going out of the house, i managed to catch 1 with a box, and my mom said just leave it there or kill or it or whatever, i said no i wanted to let it go somewhere but it was 2 AM and this area tends to be a little dangerous at night, i didnt want to bother holding him over night because he was terrified and he would have eaten through the box so i went for a 6 block walk to release him in the field, 1 week later i found the other mouse and tricked him into running on the glue trap, and i put him in a box and ofcourse it was 2 AM again and my mom said the same thing again and i went against her and did the same thing, i cant kill these little guys, i feel like i have to save them and release them and let them live their life as they should and that i have no right to decide when they should die, they are also really cute, am i stupid for caring so much about them? or do you guys agree that they are like cockroaches and deserved to be squashed?

im a little bias cuz i have a hamster

she's really cute and sweet

im glad your not killing the mice

but you should do something to stop them

from getting in

my family feeds the birds

we just put our leftover bread, muffins, pizza

outside and they have a feast

maybe if you put some stale chips

near the side of your house

thed eat that and not go in

No its not stupid not to care because they are also living things and you did a right thing or letting them go in a Field. trust me they have to be lucky to have run into a caring persons house.

that is so sweet of you i would do the same thing if i wasn't terrified of mice i wouldn't even look at them but that wasn't stupid what you did i read that this guy traped this mouse and burned him to death now that's crazy stupid

i caught some mice in my house and turned them loose in the woods but they came back. house mice cannot live without people they cant survive on their own..that's why they eat your cereal and stuff out of your cabinets...but they can also tear your insulation up in the walls of your home.  i couldnt kill them either.
