Am i the only one that thinks magics will soon win a chapionship?

I think they are putting the pieces together, but still have a few more moves to make.  I like Nelson, but he has been erratic since becoming a pro.  PG is an issue for them as long as he plays up and down.  On top of that, they really don't have a backup at point.  They just lost Dooling and Arroyo is still a FA.  

The other issue is shooting guard.  Hedo is too slow to play the 2 for major minutes.  Lee could be the fix here in a year or two but then Hedo will be a free agent.  A lot of their future will depend on how they manage the salary cap, draft, and make a smart trade or two.  

They are close to being a top 3 team in the east but need to make a couple of smart moves to get there for the long term.

Yep. They wasted soo much money on Rashard Lewis. They could have paid him a lot less and still landed him.

I think they will win one in 2010, because the only competition in the West will be the Hornets, Lakers, and Blazers, while in the East it will be Sixers, I'm calling it Pacers, Heat, and them.

they still have a little bit further to go in my opinion. first of all, i think they can make it to the finals, but im not sure they can compete with the western conferance yet. celtics were the only team from the east that i think could have dominated the lakers the way they did. but i dont think the magic are far away. nelson is a pg that i really like. rashad lewis can bang in three's and you need that on a team. dwight howard is a beast, if he can develop more of a post scoring pressence, i think they have a legit shot. but the magic are still young. and the emergence of hedu was probably a really present suprise for orlando fans. i think they are closer then most people think. because looking at their roster, they are pretty strong.

Not a great bench. I think getting Courtney Lee will help a little, but he doesn't have much potential.

Eventually I could see them being a 2 or 3 seed, but never a contender...

Dwight need's to learn how to pass out of the post...He should ask Greg Oden how to pass, and I'm being serious. Howard is a horrible passer.
