i keep reading everyone here on answers say how good they played, and I'm thinking to myself, i think i saw a completely different game..

don't get me wrong, i celebrated like crazy the 2 goals, but i was disappointed in the teams overall performance... their play was sloppy in my opinion...

I KNOW I KNOW, you're going to say they had 1-2 days to practice with the whole sqad; but lets not fool ourselves, the level they played, (with the exception of a couple of players) was TERRIBLE!

IT'S JUST MY OPINION AND I HOPE, THEY PLAY BETTER THE NEXT GAME...

  1. omg you want them to be frekkin perfect!!! we aren't frekin Brazil, even they make mistakes.

  2. I think it was dissapointing, but we all saw the potential, so we think it was an ok performance

  3. It wasnt the best but most of the starting lineup got at the most two days of practicing and they had never really played with both Gio and Vela up top which was why it was hard to get balls tot hem. And they had never played with Leandro. I think Eriksson realized some mistakes he amde this game and will change them for next, im not saying that just those few mistakes were why Mexico didn't play to its potential but they will help. THe more time that Eriksson gets with the team and the more they're togetehr the better they'll play. One thing i have to say is this team looks like it has alot of Chemistry. It's a good blend of experienced players with young ones. I just think we shouldnt rush the young players but at the same time let them flourish by giving them playing time.

  4. They played well. Breaks with few exceptions were going Honduras's way.

Score very well could have been Mexico 4-0.

  5. yea they pretty much played like sh#t

  6. I was not disappointed because they played way better than when Hugo Sanchez was manager.

  7. i think they played bad

though what great goals by Pardo

  8. Yeah I didn't like how they play on some of the time, the first 20 minutes Mexico was great and we would've score early if Vela and Arce had better aim and Magallon wasn't a defender, i'm doubting on Dos Santos cause it looks like the Mexico's National Team shirt is to heavy for him.

I really don't like oswaldo sanchez "bien mamila" but i gotta defend him on this one, on my opinion he didn't s***w up on Hondura's goal, he did a great job yesterday, and i'm against Leandro, alot of Mexicans can play better than him so i say we don't need him.

P.S. if guille would've score the chance he had with no goalie than i wouldt've guess the score right, d**n!

  9. First game for Eriksson, 2 days practice for some, 1 day practice for others. If you've ever played soccer you know it takes more than that to fully digest a new coach's ideas and to fully prepare for an above average team like Honduras. Just stop.

  10. It seems that you need to learn how to read or get glasses because we all have been criticizing how Mexico played. It wasn't such a bad result considering it was Eriksson's first game and they only had about 3 days to practice, that's a big fact when it comes to team chemistry. I do think that Mexico will play better in the upcoming games.

EDIT: ok fair enough, was that everyone? lemme quote you in here t**t. "i keep reading everyone here on answers say how good they played". See that Everyone in there? yes? well I didn't think they played well, so that's not everyone. ;)

  11. i agree, but we also hit 4 posts, the ball didnt want to go in lol

  12. All I have to say is, "Give them some time!"  If they still play like they did in the first 70mins against Honduras, then go ahead...we could talk about the poor performance!  Remember that the players come from different leagues and they had only a few days to get in sync!!

  13. i said it was a bad game. but i'm cutting sven some slack here. we all should. he had 1 day with the europeans, which was the base of the team. oswaldo, magallon, leandro, and arce. those were the only people that had a chance to really train with eriksson.

so yeah, bad game, but the next will be better!

  14. i agree with you, mexico was a disappointment, there were quality players that didnt do as well as we are used to seeing. glad they won. it would of been an embarrassment if they had lost in their own territory. i think erikkson is leading us in the right direction, seems like he knows his stuff, as soon as he made the changes there were results. they better not be as disappointing in future games.
