Am i the only one who thinks like this???

i read today that Michale Phelps just wanted a cheeseburger after his 8 gold victory. so he went to McDonald's! i think McDonald's is the worst business ever apart from wal-mart, of course... anyway, athleats who go to mcdonaldseither were paid by the company to go there in the public eye, and therefore increse their popularity,or they actually want to go there. i dont see why atheats would want to go to horrible quality "restraunts" like mcdonalds, at all!! the fact is, athleats are seduced into these deals by, what else, money!!!!!! yuck!! mcdonalds and burger king can get these deals because they have a lot of money and can seduce like i said. well, what can we do about it?! i'll tell you, dont eat from these restraunts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell me what you think about this matter!

I imagine that he's just saying that. Even while in competition, eating crappy food (especially overseas) can s***w with your system. So I imagine , the junk food will have to wait until after the Olympics.

So he may say, I'm eating pizza, and someone might make a pie or two and smuggle slices into the athletes, but even if they were going out, they know full well that if they got sick it could s***w with their chances to compete and / or win.

So I think for the moment, it's a little bit like the size 0 models that go to the Fridays and order the bacon cheeze-fries in front of other women.

Nobody sees that they go home and purge or whatever, nor am I suggest that the athletes are either binging or purging, but I submit they are probably making it seem alot easier than it is, and may very well have restricted diets or diets where only 1000 calories (out of 5-6000) are unregulated types of food, and I'd venture to guess that Chinese Mc Donalds is far,far from what they are actually eating.

Kind of like the astronauts, play it cool, no matter how crappy things actually get. If I was Michael Phelps Mc'D's would have to pay me some SERIOUS money to eat there, h**l I'm me and won't eat there.

I hate to break it to you but many people like McDonald's and Burger King. That's why they stay in business.

I think since Michael Phelps has been on a diet geared toward making him fit, he probably craved a McDonald's cheeseburger. He won so he was entitled to a victory splurge.

As far as I'm concerned anyone who wins that much gold should have had his pick of everything on the menu and as much of it as he wanted.
