  1. no, you are not, i agree with you 100%

  2. I think that it will (if he's elected) be a big change

and invite a lot of strange happenings

but I'm not sure I'd go as far to say assassination

  3. Repent  for the kingdom of heaven is at hand, seek God with your whole heart. Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world, better be worried about your eternal soul. love ya

  4. I think you're insulting us as a nation. His race has nothing to do with any of my thoughts about him.  His character, history, policies, and "experience" is what I look at.  If he becomes president I wouldn't fear so much for his life as I would for the lives of all Americans.

    **edit**

Didn't say you were racist. And to tell you the truth, I think way too many people throw the race card around. I only said you are being extremely insulting to us as a nation to say we have not evolved enough as a culture to look past race.

Also where you are from doesn't automatically make you who you are.  Saying you're not racist because you're from London makes no sense.  You can just say "I'm not racist." period.  But we're getting off topic a bit.

In summary, I think your question a absurd.  Yes there are racists, but I don't think it's fair to say we're not ready as a nation to have a black president.  And I don't think his race makes him more vulnerable to attempts on his life anymore than any other president.  Crazy people do crazy things for different reasons everywhere.

  5. You could be - it isn't keeping me awake at night

  6. I think there is a risk of assassination for anyone in the spotlight. Take for example John Lennon, out shopping in New York and gets shot outside his own apartment block.

In this day and age, I don't think anyone is safe. People are being stabbed, shot and murdered all over the UK.

  7. I think the chance of an assassination attempt is about 50%; the chance of it succeeding is much lower.  Yes, it's a concern, but not that much.  Simply having him as President is certain to be dangerous for us, in other ways.

  8. (I don't mean this to sound racist in any way) I know!!!! First Bernie Mac then Isaac Hayes!!!

  9. If OBAMA becomes president, then an Irish  Catholic will become Vice President - Watch your Back OBAMA!

  10. Give me a break. It's also the country where the Nation of Islam is active. You don't think there has been lots of threats of President Bush's life? There will always be crazies. Of course we're ready for a black president - just not this one, a radical lefty, all style and no substance.

  11. Obama has got as far as he has because America needs to show the world it is a great multicultural nation & not a xenophobic & empire building state. Obama has NO qualities that are needed for high office( except the gift of the gab) but if he is elected will be merely a puppet president with the real power being wielded from behind the thrown. Its a PR exercise & nothing more. The world is not ready for a Black 'man of power'...imagine Obama meeting other G8 leaders or middle eastern sheiks! They'd be sending out for coffee.

  12. Yes, you are the only one.

  13. Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Pope John Paul II -

It really does not matter. Certainly thier will be attempts and hopefully they will be foiled.
