  2. most if not all professional ballerinas start off at a very young age. however, dancers in general can start at any time and be great too with the heart, passion, and HARD work. it wont be easy but you're still pretty young. take private lessons at a performing arts school and maybe go into a dance class in your school. im assuming you're going into high school and im sure there should be a dance class. good luck with it!

  3. NO WAY !! tOO OLD!! yea right lol you should deff. start ballet and iv been doing ballet for a long time and yes it is very rewarding and you have to be very dedicated to it so if your really going to do it be serious and commit cause its not the easist sport in the world

  4. No, you should go for it.  I didn't take piano lessons until I was 17.  Just practice hard.

  5. Go for it! You're not too old! Good luck!

  6. i think it would b easier if u started earlier, cuz rite now u probably don't have the flexibility to do it.  but u'll get adjust to it

  7. I am 13 also and i love dancing. U r def. not to old to do ballet. Ballet is for everyone!

  8. i'm 15 and i'm just starting ballet now. i started dancing (hip hop) when i was your age and i already have a job student teaching. so basically, my point is no, it's definitely not too late as long as you work hard and are very dedicated.

    best of luck :)

p.s. i think your background in gymnastics will help you
