I used to compete in gymnastics when i was younger in about 3 or 4th grade. Which i now is forever ago. Anyway i was in level 4 goin on to 5 and ended up stopping because of broken bones and mean coaches. A few years later i regreted it but didn't restart because i thought i was to old. But i want to do gymnastics so bad now and would like to be able to compete in college. Which i know will take lots of time and dedication. Any way here are the basic skills i have:

FLOOR

Areil (which i just got in a week - it was so exciting) weirdly tired but didnt get it when in gymnastics

Cartwheels

Backwalk over

Right split and stradle

Handstand (with rolls and bridges ex...)

Roundoff backhandspring

almost standing backhandspring

stradle and split leaps

full turn

BEAM

handstand

cartwheel

(maybe back walk over - havent tried)

anyway thats all the skills i can think of for now.

THANKYOU so much for your time and for answering my question.

  1. no way!!! ur young enough!!! just get back into gym shape by doing a recreational class first. i would say level 3.

  2. Probably too old to start competing, but you can always do it for fun.

  3. If you are seriously thinking of competing for college, I think you should go to your local gymnastics school and speak to them. They can evaluate you.
