Am i too old to start irish dancing at 31 years old??

Hi,i used to do irish dancing when i was younger but gave it up,im now 31 and would love to learn again,i am really determined to learn but am i too old now? and is there any competitions for my age group to compete?? any advice appreciated!!

p.s. does anybody know which is the best dvd to learn from?

  1. No! your are not too old! I suggest maybe spending some money and going to a class because it is more fun and your technique is A LOT better, plus you have instructors and all that good stuff. Believe me you are not too old and trust me find a irish dance studio instead of a video your results will be MUCH better

  3. No!! You would be in an adult age group. You are certainly not too old. There are people over 50 dancing from my school. It may be a bit harder because of age, but that doesn't mean you can't do it! 31 isn't that old!
