  1. in WEC there is BantamWeight which is at 135 lbs, so just start lifting or something.

  2. you can fight in the flyweight division. BJ Kojima and Mamoru Yamaguchi would be your prime opponents. But yeah, it's not really a popular division, even though i believe those two are one of the most skilled fighters i know of.

  3. Your not to small to start, you can start but you'll have to gain weight and muscle mass. Start eating healthier foods and pumping some iron. Start small go for muscle endurance in the beginning and gradually build weight. Remember it's better to do 100 reps of 40 lbs that 10 reps of 100 lbs. Follow that theory and after a few months you'll grow stronger and stuff. I suggest asking a doctor as well how you can get more body mass healthily and what foods you should eat. It'd be a very high protein diet though.

I'm 5'8" and 170 lbs mainly muscle. I intend to cut down to 155 to fight which is the UFC's smallest weight class. At 5'9" you can definitely pick the weight up to fight at higher weight classes like lightweight or welterweight. Or with your natural thinness you could gain a little and fight at bantam and flyweight. Whatever you do just be careful and focus on health.

  4. No, you aren't. Begin training. Train hard.

The fourteen [14] weight classes include:

    flyweight (up to 105 lbs),

super flyweight (over 105.1 to 115 lbs),

    *** bantamweight (over 115.1 to 125 lbs), ***

super bantamweight (over 125.1 to 135 lbs),

featherweight (over 135.1 to 145 lbs),

lightweight (over 145.1 to 155 lbs),

super lightweight (over 155.1 to 165 lbs),

welterweight (over 165.1 to 175 lbs),

super welterweight (over 175.1 to 185 lbs),

middleweight (over 185.1 to 195 lbs),

super middleweight (over 195.1 to 205 lbs),

light heavyweight (over 205.1 to 225 lbs),

heavyweight (over 225.1 to 265 lbs), and

    super heavyweight (over 265.1 lbs).

  5. Yes your too small, might as well give up now.

  6. In UFC it's not a popular weight class (i.e. not many fighters).  Depending on your age, I'd say you have a pretty good chance to gain some muscle and fight at 155 so I wouldn't fret too much about your weight right now.  You can always try starting with Muay Tai boxing where there are several weight classes then move over to BJJ and wrestling.  This should give you a firm foundation and allow you an opportunity to gain some muscle which will get you into the "show".

  7. I think u can fight at 155 LB, but right now put on some weight and gain muscle mass. Imagine ur going to be fighting at 155 lb with a height of 5'9 you will hav a great advantage...

  8. you can start now and build up your weight while in mma

  9. 135 is the lowest weight class i know of
