Am i too stupid for eighth grade?

i am a REALLY good speller i do pretty well in science and History...but math that is SO hard for me i cant get ANYTHINGING

that she teaches.i get really pissed off because i cant get it hate thay say just try harder you can do it ! and i cant....i try...and try and try

obviously you're not stupid for 8th grade.

i guess what you should do is

COMPROMISE with your teacher!.

you  can ask your teacher if he/she can help you after school or something.

so he/she can show you SLOWLY instead of every1 learning it at the same time.

you have to try and make time for it.

but also your teacher have to make time for it.

no honey..ur not stupid or dumb..my sister sucked at math as well and today believe it or not shes a pharmacist..and pharmacy includes like 95% of math hun..basically chem and physics so yea..just try to get like atleast c's and do extra practice and stay after school i promise ya by the time you get to your second yr of high school youlle b doin perfectly fine :) jus pay hard attention :) gud luckk

no I guest not but my brother has the excact same problems and I'm the one that's good at math. Just put your head to it. Trust me.

If you passed seventh grade then you are not too stupid for eighth grade.  Simple as that.

Look, most of us have one or two subjects we don't do well in.  Some more than that.  If it's just math, you're lucky.  In fact you're pretty normal, math is hard for lots of people.

So get some help.  Post questions here. Find a friend who can sit with you for a while and help you.  Find a volunteer tutor.

The thing about math is there are a lot of ideas that if you don't get them you don't get them.  Once you do get them they become really easy!  Once you get over the hump, so to speak, once you 'get it', you wonder what was so hard about it.

If you just worry and fret and get depressed and give up you'll never get anywhere.  You have to get eighth grade math down cold, get it under your belt, to be ready for ninth grade math!  And then you'll have to deal with TENTH GRADE MATH!  OMG!

Trust me, you can do it.  Just don't get all mental-blocked.  Get some help!  You'll be fine.

Of couse your not to "stupid" for the eighth grade. Math is very hard for all students. Why don't you ask your teacher what the problem is.
