Am i too tall for gymnastics?

im 13 almost 14 and im 5'3". iv been doing gymnastics for about 10 years and my idol is probably the shortest gymnast ever, Shawn Johnson. Well, like i was saying, and i too tall?

No you are not! you may have a little bit harder time swinging through the bars, but they can move the bars out and stuff like that!

I am a level 10 gymnast and i happen to be 4 11'' but all my friends at the gym are way taller then me!

They are 5 3 plus and they are level 10's so i think that you are just fine good luck =]

Well, maybe you are not. But the fact is that i had to give up gymnastics because i was growing too fast too tall. Now, 21 years old with 6'3" i kind of thank them for the foresight. :D I traded gymnastics for swimming, and now I am very happy about the change.

But of course you don't really have anything to worry about, of course you could talk the issue over with your trainer.

but to answer your question no my friends who are 16 are taller than that and really good in gymnastics. they have friends who are like 5'5
