im a female and im 5 feet '6 inches and only 13.

there r people taller than me [[girls]] but not many.

is this too tall??

how tall do u think ill grow? im worried because like so many guys r shorter than me im like getting worried about growing too tall?.

Your finally height is unknown to everybody so don't listen however an average girls stops growing @ 16. Don't be worried about being to tall use it. For example join basketball. Don't put yourself down, pull yourself up.

Haha, I'm thirteen tomorrow, one of the youngest in my grade, and I'm still taller than you. Trust me, it can be so annoying! Just breath, being tall has it's advantages. And who knows, those who were way shorter than me in grade six have really grown these past two years. Chances are, everyone else in your grade will catch up to you.

that is tall for your age. but you might not even grow anymore. i know adult women who say they are the same height now as they were when they were like 13 or 14. and some are like 5' 4" - 5' 7".

Everybody grows at differnt rates, ur friends might even grow to be taller than you. It doesnt matter what ur parents are, well it does but also if anyone in ur family lets say ur grandma, is 5'5 then u could stay 5'6. yes i do think that is tall but dont worry cuz boys will get taller soon. last year i was taller then all the boys and now this year they r taller than me. so yeah just remeber we all grow at differnt times

no i know a girl whos my age (14) and 5' 11"... trust me, you're not too tall. plus, being tall means being slimmer : )

and btw guys are shorter than you cuz they have their growth spurts etc. later. and even if you grow a little more, everyone will catch up with you eventually.

no, you aren't too tall. You will seem to get shorter over the years of high school because everyone else hasn't gotten taller yet. So, don't worry. it will all average out.

no your not to tall some girls go threw a major growing spurt  its normal and if you have some tall family members you might get it from them.. now that your getting older your growing will start to slow down. so dont worry your normal. my cuz is the same age and she is almost 5'10 and she's still goin so it all depends so dont freak girl its all good :P

No you are average i was 5'7 when i was 12 and 13. Girls are usually taller then guys till you reach highschool. I was so scared when i was your age because i was at least 4 inchs taller then every one you are right on track. You could be from 5'8 up it just depends. I have a friend that has been 6'2 since we were in the 5th grade which is 12-13 and her mom is about 5'0 so you never know. heh

Boys grow at different rates than girls. They grow LATER than girls. You are perfectly normal. I'm 14 and about 5'5". Alot of my friends are shorter than me, and alot of the guys I know are taller than me, by atleast 3 to 4 inches. You're normal. The boys you know haven't 'matured' yet. Give them a few months, and they'll catch up, if not pass you. =]

I think you might not grow anymore, but you could grow another Inch. But I doubt that.

girls develop earlier than guys. chances are u probably wont grow much at all. Females I know havent grown at all since your age. even so you probably wont grow any more than six foot at most. and even so thats a good height.

It's normal to be tall at 13. I know some people who were taller than you are when they were in jr high. They're in high school, so by now they're still taller than half of the students at school, including me, even though I'm almost 5'7" and 17.

There is no such thing as "too tall". Everyone will be different, but you will probably only grow a little. Some of the "many guys" will probably grow really tall through high school and will be taller than you at the end. Plus, I'm 5' 11" and half of my class is like 4' 10" and I'm a freshman! Don't worry about growing tall, you are about average height and you're also around the age of puberty for girls where we start to grow.  Naturally guys don't get their grow spurts until they are older, anywhere between the ages of 15-19.  Trust me, you are average and a good height, and the boys will catch up late in life.  It's fact.

Your are definately not too tall. 5 foot 6 is not TOO tall at 13. You will stup growing in 2-3 years and by science you should be 5-9 to 5-8. That is an average female height. Males sre shorter now because they end growing later than girls (around 17-18). So dont worry about it and be happy with your height!

i dont think so. girls peak in their early teens (most do) so i wouldnt worry about it. guys catch up a little later so chances are, you wont be the tallest girl in a few years. by the time your reach HS the boys will be as tall or taller than you. not too much longer =) and hey think of it this way, ever want to be a model?

You are not too tall. You probably wont' get much taller. Boys don't grow as fast as girls do. Wait til those boys are 14! They shoot up. My daughter got tall quick but then stopped. She is 5'8 and I envy the h**l out of that height. Its perfect.
