  1. i had my first tattoo at 16 and it dint really stretch and im nearly 20 now...but...!! you need to know what you want and what you really want you love...i had 1 on my foot when i was 17 and i love it but my first 1 was small and i just had it cover up last night...make sure its something you love and in a place if you don't like you can hide it...o and don't have anything 2 big and black if you decide you don't like you can get a cover up...hope this helps =]

  2. Don't do it - you will regret it

  3. Well it is a bit young

    And yes it will strech

By the way my Dad works as a tattoo thingie!!

  4. yes you are too young (mentally and physically)

and yes, the tattoo will stretch as you grow

the bigger you get, the more it will stretch

  5. if 16 is legal to have s*x i guess getting a tattoo is nothing bro! ;) :)

  6. Yes and yes. Trust us it is better to wait until your body, mind, and spirit mature a bit more. You can either end up with 1) a poorly done tattoo, by an inexperienced, unlicensed person - 'scratcher-),  http://www.badtattoos.com/index.html

a tattoo that stretches and warps all out of shape and is blobby and unrecognizable, or a ridiculous and/or trendy tattoo because you are too young to realize that your choices may be immature or are made from peer pressure etc. This link will help you: http://tattoo.about.com/

You'll do fine. I know this by how you asked this question. It is asked all the time, but your's is clearly sincere.

    good luck, take your time

  7. Age is not the point, if you feel really strongly about it.  Just remember that tatts are forever.  And I can assure you it will stretch if it is in a spot that is likely to grow.

Maybe this will help you. I start by getting a temp, airbrush or drawn picture in the place i'm considering.  I let it stay there for as long as possible so i can be really sure its what I want and where.

  8. personally it depends on the person as to if 16 is too young..

if ur mature etc, then no its not.. but if your not, then dont even think about it..

i was 16 when i got my first ink.. my mum and i are both tattoo artists and have the same thoughts on the issue..

places such as the back and ankle rarely stretch.. so these are the places i would get one.. dont get 1 on the arm or leg as they will stretch as u grow :)

    xo

  9. 1: Yes - it's illegal in the UK and most US states.

    2: Yes.

  10. yes you're too young, it's unlikely that the tattoo will stretch as putting on weight doesn't seem to alter them.

  11. Yes and yes. Trust us it is better to wait until your body, mind, and spirit mature a bit more. You can either end up with 1) a poorly done tattoo, by an inexperienced, unlicensed person - 'scratcher-), http://www.badtattoos.com/index.html

  12. Yes your are too young. Wait till your 18 and can do it without your parents permission.

Also this gives you time to think if you really want one. Maybe its just a fase or peer pressure.  Tattoo is easy to get, but difficult to get rite off.

Yes it can stretch, so wait 2 more years or so.

Ask yourself why do i need to get it right now???????

Because if it strech it wil be damaged

But remember its your body so its your decision.
