my girlfriend doesn't like me to call her 'baby' and stuff.she says it's cuz she's not my child but it kinda bothers me.is this weird that she doesn't like that?or is it weird that i like calling her that?

her something else so she won't get pissed off and start anything.

People are different. For some, pet names come naturally; for others, they seem absurd. Just go with whatever she's comfortable with. As you spend more time together and accumulate a shared history, these things will seem less important.

just come up with some other pet name for her, you should respect her desires and if she doesn't like it, don't do it

It doesn't really have to be either. Maybe her parents called her baby when she was a kid and it freaks her out. Or maybe she's being sort of feminist and trying to show that she's equally strong in the relationship.
