  1. You telling people in public that you are a good mom and its your kids fault they misbehave just makes everyone think you are a nut. Seriously they will think you are a crazed maniac as you said.

You have enough attention focused on the kids behavior and you speaking loudly just confirms to people shopping that the kids are just doing what they see you do.

I'm not being ugly to you, i'm just saying who people watching will react.

Just do the best you can with your own issues and let every one else think what they want. Who cares about other people, you never have to see them again?

  2. ignore people, they dont have to live your life and only you as their mother know best!  Im sure youre doing a great job!

  3. Tell them to "go on somewhere!" How you want to teach your kids is up to you. They should know this, especially since they are not kin.

  4. If people are staring. oh well. its they say something. just tell them to go yell at someone who beats there kids. tell them to mind there business. Your not beating or screaming at them so what do they expect you to do. Sometimes kids just dont listen.

  5. If you choose to wait to say something in private your child will keep acting this way in public.  My son was 3 and he was taking things off the shelves.  I lightly smacked his hand and told him "no', some lady looked at me and I asked her if she would like me to do it now or when he was breaking into her home when he got older....There are always ways to make the person that is staring feel bad.  You shouldn't, you are doing the right thing!
