You should check up on this with UK embassy in Dublin. There is a lot of paranoia these days with so much immigration to both countries.

Eire is a Foreign Country so you need to apply for a UK Visa.

The fact that Eire granted you a visa does not mean that the UK will do so. That said assuming your visas tourist then your chances are pretty good.
