Am in need of dependable attorney to close real estate in volcan, panama if anyone knows any?

i have a property i've put a downpayment on in volcan, panama and after going thru 4 different attorneys, none followed thru on the closing. no idea why. can anyone recommend a dependable one in the chirique province?

It's vital to get land that is titled. Americans in Chiriqui have a website entitled Boquete.org. If you post your question there, you'll get some good advice. If litigation results from your real estate deal, the local will win, not the foreigner.  I suggest hiring a translator, even if you find an English-speaking attorney. I lived almost 3 years in the Province of Chiriqui and only recently returned to U.S. due to change in visa laws.

You need to find out if there is an referral (Bar) association in Panama, that refers people to attorneys by specialty. This should be able to help you find, who you need.
