  1. Hungary is a great place, I moved here 6 years ago and never want to leave. Its easy to make friends, you will love it

  2. dont go

  3. ive done the exact same thing... its not that but, actually its kinda intresting to have different people around you. i woulnt be scared at all its a great oppertunity.

  4. Your security issues are coming to the fore here.  It is normal to be a bit apprehensive about going overseas where you know no one.  It is not normal to be paralyzed by fear, to be so concerned about not knowing anyone.  This shows you have no experience in doing things on your own.  You are very dependent, and you need to be very independent.

In your case, I would strongly recommend you stay in your own country, close to friends and family.  Most people do not do well adjusting to life in a foreign country, and it appears you are among the majority.

  5. 1. It is a good opportunity allows you to experience different social, economic and political systems, and establish relationships with people and organizations in other countries.

    2 Think positively.

    2.1 Academically, you will:

    - be challenged by different learning and teaching styles

    - be tested by new ideas and concepts

    - gain valuable skills such as knowledge of a second or third language

2.2 Socially, you will have the opportunity to:

    - meet local students and other exchange students from all over the world

    - develop networks for travel and friendship

    - gain insights into your own culture, and a deeper understanding of your host culture

    2.3 Professionally, you will have:

    - a competitive edge in the job market

    - increased cross-cultural sensitivity and knowledge

    3.  Find some Hungarian pen pals help to know better the country.

  6. You will be absolutely surprised how friendly they are.  Europe has a long tradition of being welcoming to students from all over the world.  Just remember that when there you are representing your country (presumably the USA?) so act accordingly.  The impressions you leave behind will color the perceptions of the U.S. by those you interacted with.  Otherwise, embrace this as what it is - a chance to connect with another world.

  7. its ok because its gona make ur life u may be woried for a span of 10 days then when evrything will be ok by themselves

    so all the best

  8. It sounds like an adventure.  It's normal to be nervous.  As long as you are doing this safely you will be fine.  You will soon get to know people and it may turn out to be the best time of your life.
