  1. poland is gorgeous.

but all the years i went, it was cold and rainy.

    bring warm clothes! thats important.

visit krakow and the salt mine. also, visit the different castles. they are beautful. also, i suggest you bring your own ketchup. because the ketchup that i've had is gross. also, the electrical sockets are different. so make sure you buy adapters that plug in so you can charge your ipod, cell phone, ect.

  2. It is a wonderful place to visit!! In the south there a er mountains in the north there is the Baltic SEA. You should visit Krakow, i was there and it is breathtaking!! Then I would go to Zakopane - many mountains. Go to Gdansk in the north. Also go to olsztyn there are many many lakes. The polish olympic team trains in these lakes. Just a trivia fact. Haave fun! XD

  3. Goto london instead!!

theres more polish in london then in poland!

i'm telling you polands the most beautiful country in europe !

  5. Cities to visit: Kraków, Gdańsk, Toruń, Poznań.

Auschwitz is really disturbing - don't go there if you are not prepared to see such a place.

Food to check out: pierogi (dumplings), bigos (sauerkraut dish), kiełbasa (sausage - hundred kinds, really), rye bread, vodka.

Weather in October should be moderate - 15-20 C at best, 10-15 C (and rain) at worst.

  6. poland rocks !. period

  7. It depends how long you are going to stay. I live in Lodz (pronounced "Woodge",please). The weather in October can be changeable so be prepared for anything although it doesn't get really cold until after Christmas. Cities to visit are Krakow, Warsaw and Gdansk although it depends on your travel arrangements because they are a long way apart. Most young people speak at least some English, but older people don't. Respect the culture and traditions of the Polish. They are really friendly, hospitable people. I could go on but I would need to know how long you are staying and what your interests are

  8. You will be welcome any time of the year - only the weather might surprise you a bit. No snow, of course, but some rain can be expected.

  9. i went to poland in october and it was perfect. it is best to go early if you want to go to Auschwitz as it closes in mid-october. otherwise, have a flipping amazing time. the weather is almost perfect (if you don't mind a little rain) and the days last just the perfect amount of time.

  10. I lived in Poland for about 9 years as a Child and I loved it, its beautiful.  As for places to visit you should see Krakow, Zakopane, very pretty.
