  1. Canon A590 IS is a good little camera.  It gives you a lot of control.  Image stabilization helps to reduce blurry pictures.  


  2. Good camera for the money. Can't go wrong with it. The video is lacking over other PowerShot cameras due to the slower frames per second (20 vs 30). Also it's got an LCD which is not the highest resolution, but it does okay for most people. Other than that it's hard to criticize this camera.
