Unless you have the Vehicle Identification Number which would probably be on the old registration. You would probably not have much luck. You might be able to track the VIN#  for free on one of the sites that do that. However, you would probably end up paying for the vehicle history report. Which, if you are lucky, may tell you where the car is, or it equally may well not.

go to the dmv and say you want to know if it was registered properly caue you keep getting parking tickets..they will feel sorry and tell you  ," no its....... and there you go. yo gotta go in with chupspa!!!   if you live in cali i can go with you southern cali

Car Fax doesn't give locations or owner's names.  VIN numbers wouldn't do you any good either.  This is information that is not released to the general public.  It's Federal law.
