Am using utorrent 1.8 and have problems with port forwarding.?

i followed all those steps for port forwarding by changing settings for my smartax mt882 router. but when i select the TEST IF PORT IS FORWARDED PROPERLY i still get the error message. the yellow icon on the bottom never turns green. the download speed is only around 20KB/s. please help me.

My guess is that you didn't get the configuration of the router correct. There are step by step instructions at http://portforward.com/english/routers/p...

According to Huawei, the MT822 may be running speeds at downstream up to 8 Mbps and upstream up to 896 Kbps but your ISP may also be congested or throttling you to much slower than that. But check and double check that you are forwarding properly.

BUT it works FINE and 20 kb/s is average for the number of seeders u will usually get
