Am wondering how hard it would be to find a job as well as cheap accommodation in Ireland?

A friend and I are wanting to go to Ireland, somewhere around the dublin region, for a working holiday towards the end of the year. Would like as much info as possible as well as any other hints & tips- even in regards to visas etc. Would be so appreciative. Thank you

Competition for jobs is fierce especially in the building trade.  Bar work you may get or working in a hotel the catering/services industry seems to be holding steady.  Accommodation to rent Dublin and surrounding areas will use up most of your money.

Dublin should be easy to get a job but accomidation is expensive unless u stay in a hostel.

If you're an EU national, you don't need a visa. Contact the Irish Embassy or Consulate in your country to find out the paperwork requirements.

Finding a job probably won't be difficult in the Dublin area, but finding enough that pays enough to get you an affordable place to live is another thing entirely. I would advise looking elsewhere in the country, where there are plenty of jobs, and accommodation is a bit less expensive.
