Amalfi coast or capri?

I'm going on a cruise to Europe in october and one of the stops is Naples/Capri. I would really like to see the blue grotto in capri but many people have said the Amalfi coast is amazing as well. i am torn on which one to go to so which one is the better choice?

I have a painting in my living room of the Amalfi coast and it is stunning. I actually bought the painting on a cruise. They have art auctions on Princess cruises. Anyways this is why I would pick Amalfi, but the decision is all yours and Capri is also beautiful.Is there any way you can do both shore excursions? I have done a 4 hour one in the morning and a 3 hour one in the afternoon. Wish I could help you more.
