Question:

Amana defrost thermostat

Hello, The defrost thermostat was just hanging down inside the evaporator area. Is it supposed to be attached to either of the refrigerant tubes?
It seems to be set up with a clip to be snapped onto the tubing. But which of the 2 tubes. Does it really make any difference?
