Amana Model ARG7301WW Serial 9710248256 Self cleaning oven

After Thanksgiving I cleaned my oven. It had been cleaning for approx. 3 hours and was quite hot and sending out so much smoke that my fire alarms went off. I turned the oven to the off position and let it cool. When I opened the oven, it was very clean and it appeared that everything was fine. Next time I went to use the oven there was no heat. The gas burners and the broiler still work fine. I played with the temp k**b by turning it on and off and after a while the oven worked just fine. I went to use it again the other night and I couldn't get it to heat up at all even after monkeying with the switch. Last night I thought I'd give it one last try and I turned it on. No heat. I monkeyed with the switch and again it worked. I have checked breakers and have pulled the front panel looking for a reset swith of some sort. No luck. Could it be the thermocouple or ignitor? If so where do I look to replace them.
